Use Personal Email for Communications with Your Lawyer. NEVER use your work email and/or government phone to contact a lawyer or when communicating with your lawyer.
Government Computers and Networks are Monitored. Avoid inquiries or information that are not work-related while on government computers or networks. Do not connect personal devices to your workplace’s wireless network.
Protect your Privacy. Never keep on government devices or networks any communications with or information from your lawyer.
Handling Offers or Decisions. If you receive an email or letter that makes an offer or asks you to decide something related to your job or your reasonable accommodations, you should contact a lawyer before deciding what to do.
