WELCOME TO Deaf In Government

DIG's mission is to empower Deaf and Hard of Hearing Government Employees at the local, state and federal levels. We address communication barriers, accessibility issues and promote a full inclusive work environment through networking, fostering professional growth, and career advancement. DIG's website obtains a wealth of resources for deaf and hard of hearing government employees as well as information about upcoming trainings and events. If you have information that DIG should promote, please reach out to us!


DIG has provided free information for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, their families and friends to use as a resource.  We hope you find this information helpful for employers, business and government agencies. 



DIG serves as an employee support group for local, state and federal employees who are either Deaf or Hard of Hearing. As an organization, we are committed to accessibility, networking opportunities, and the advancement of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.



DIG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which supports Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals nationwide. By providing financial support, you will be helping DIG further continue our influence in local, state and federal public policy.

DIG Fitness Classes
DIG is partnering up with Jason Coleman of JC Sports Performance to provide fitness classes in American Sign Language! The January 2022 session starts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 9 am and 7 pm Eastern Time. Can't make it to either 9 am or 7 pm? You'll be sent a video to work out on your own! DIG is partnering with Raymonda Azrelyant of Luv Yoga to provide a variety of yoga classes in American Sign Language with a fellow deaf federal employee. Choose from one of two classes starting January 24, 2022: Yogastrology or Power Vinyasa Flow. Registration is at
